Description
The Double Kit contains 2 slabs of soapstone with your choice of two animal designs (Buffalo, Simple bear, detailed bear, dolphin, whale, turtle or wolf) on them, 2 different carving files (Rifflers), sandpaper, steel wool and instructions. You may mix or match the animal designs. Excellent for beginners, projects can be completed within ½ hour to 2 hours depending on wrist strength and age. Used by many schools, scout troops and 4 different Indian museums in California. This stone carving kit makes a very fine Educational Toy. My goal with my carving kits is to give the first time carver a project that you can succeed at and be very satisfied with the results. I've seen many short attention span kids (and adults) give up when their first carving experience was too big a project for them that's why i came up with this size, stick with it for 45 minutes to 1½ hour and i'm sure you'll be happy with the results and be more inclined to try a second carving.
